The Role

Reporting to the R&D Project Manager, you will support xplor and the wider campus across:

· Research and Development

· Technical services and productions

· Training and short courses

· Campus technology support

You’ll gain hands-on experience in networking, cybersecurity, and creative technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with setup, configuration, and testing of networked systems (switches, servers, devices)

· Support secure infrastructure deployment and monitoring

· Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and configuration issues

· Maintain technical documentation and follow security and data protection practices

· Support production, installation, and studio-based projects

About You

· Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience

· Interest in networking, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure

· Problem-solving mindset with an interest in creative and production environments

· Willingness to learn, collaborate, and develop professionally

· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required

Working Hours

· 40 hours per week

· Core hours: Monday–Friday, 10am–4pm (flexible working outside these times)
