Personal Assistant to Operations Team


The Company


Production Park is the number one live events production destination in Europe, featuring three rehearsal studios, 15 events businesses and the UK’s only Live Events Production University Centre.


The rehearsal studios on-site bring a variety of world class tours and productions to the park as well as providing space for test builds.


The park is also home to workshops, offices and machine shops belonging to a group of long established engineering, technology and creative specialist businesses, including Litestructures, LS-Live, Perry Scenic Creative and Brilliant Stages.


The Role


This key role provides support and organisation to the activities of the Operations team for Brilliant Stages. the role provides practical and administrative support to ensure that this team can effectively and efficiently schedule their time, attention and activities.  The role will suit an outgoing, proactive and self-motivated person with exceptional organisational skills and demonstrable previous experience in a similar role.




  • Coordinate and manage daily calendars for the Senior Management team, Staff and Clients including communication for appointments and assist to ensure scheduled meetings run to time.
  • Coordinate management communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with clients and colleagues.
  • Act as the point of contact between Senior Management team and employees/clients.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, provide research for meetings, and take minutes during meetings.
  • Facilitate internal communication (e.g. distribute information and schedule presentations).
  • Prepare internal and external corporate documents for team members and industry partners.
  • Maintain an organised filing system of paper and electronic documents.
  • Plan corporate events / staff hospitality /internal communications events.
  • Assist the Executive PA with the communications for Board Members, meeting schedules, and coordinate the submission and circulation of board reports prior to meetings.
  • Liaise with clients and business guests.
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
  • Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele.
  • Manage projects and follow-up with team members where required.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with other relevant departments, including HR, Projects, Finance, Operations & Backstage Academy.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with other businesses operating from Production Park.
  • Liaise with other staff members on behalf of senior management.
  • Use various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
  • Provide general administrative support and input into other areas of the business, as directed.


Skills and Qualities:

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience.
  • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite.
  • Ability to organise a daily workload by priorities.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
  • Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
  • Numerate with a good level of general financial and commercial awareness.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Personal qualities of: Confidence, Flexibility, Self-Motivation, Persistence.
  • A cheerful demeanour and outgoing and engaging personality would assist in making a success of this role.




  • Position:                    Full-Time 40-hour week 8:30am to 17:30pm
  • Salary:                      Circa £20,000 to £24,000 (dependent upon experience)
  • Location:                   South Kirkby, Wakefield
